To model the kingdom of God effectively we must first examine and deny ourselves through daily prayer. We must then obey the commands of the Holy Spirit. When we obey, we yield to the Spirit and then walk (take action) in the footsteps of Jesus (disciple). Through such discipline comes growth, which leads to the action of being set free (deliverance).

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
Galatians 5:24-25 NIV
